TXDOT prepared for a re-freeze

Larry Krantz with TXDot says this weekend's winter blast could've been a lot worse.
Krantz says TXDOT crews jumped on any accumulating snow with their sand trucks.
Major roads in Tyler are becoming pretty dry today. Krantz says in addition to temperatures being just above freezing, the traffic itself helps evaporate the melted snow on roadways.
"We should be in pretty good shape tonight, as opposed to where we were last night, but that doesn't mean people should let their guard down. They should still be aware of where the bridges and overpasses are in their commute and you know, expect the unexpected," Krantz said.
He says TXDOT is ready, should driving conditions become dangerous again tonight.
