Tyler and Longview to make Joint Purchases

TYLER - Tyler and Longview have agreed to purchase their transit buses together, according to an agreement approved by Tyler's City Council this week.

Mayor Barbara Bass says by the cities joining forces, they have increased their buying power.

This agreement to purchase buses together sets a precedent for the cities to be able to purchase other items together in the future.
