East Texas Christmas Parades are being rescheduled due to the threat of severe winter weather.

KETK has complied a list of the parades that have either been canceled or postponed:

  • City of Tyler - Postponed until Tuesday, December 10, at 6:00 p.m.
     
  • City of Henderson - Postponed until Monday, December 9, at 6:30 p.m.
     
  • City of Whitehouse - Postponed until Saturday, December 14, at 5:00 p.m.
     
  • City of Jacksonville - Postponed until Thursday, December 12
     
  • City of Lindale - Canceled, will reschedule at a later date.
     
  • Edom Christmas Tree Ceremony - Postponed until Saturday, December 14. 
     
  • 10th Annual Christmas in the Park at The Children’s Park (Tyler) - Canceled, will not be rescheduled.
     
  • Hemphill Lions Club Christmas Parade - Canceled.
     
  • City of Rusk - Postponed until Saturday, December 14, at 10:00 a.m.
     
  • Christian Celebrity Banquet in Jacksonville - Canceled.
     
  • Quitman Christmas Parade - Postponed until Saturday, Dec. 14th at 4:00 p.m.

KETK will update more information on cancelations and postponements as they become available.

MADD ETX Celebration of Life, Remembrance & Hope that was slated for tomorrow has been rescheduled due to the threat of inclement weather. It has been rescheduled for a Sat April 5th, 2014 to kick off National Crime Victims Rights week. For questions or further details contact the MADD Tyler office at 903-534-6000.

City of Arp - Postponed until Saturday, December 14, at 5:30 p.m.

I have been told Jacksonville also post-poned theirs. Originally scheduled today it has been moved to next Thursday Dec, 12th.

Jacksonville was rescheduled to next Thursday.
