Tyler Firefighters ask people to "Fill the Boot"

TYLER - Local firemen fought a fight of a different sort today in Tyler. More than 22 fire departments from the East Texas area participated in the "Fill the Boot" campaign.
Firefighters stood at various intersections for one week literally filling their boots with contributions from drivers to fight against Muscular Dystrophy.
The event, sponsored by the Muscular Dystrophy Association, raised more than $92,000 last year and M.D.A. officials are hopeful that 2009 will be even better!
