The Food Fast on Highway 64 West was robbed at gunpoint this morning.

It happened at 11:43 a.m., a man entered the convenience store located at the intersection of Highway 64 West and Thompson Lane. the man pulled a gun and demanded the clerk give him cash.

The clerk complied with the request and the man left the store with an unknown amount of money. The suspect is described as a black male, 5'4", medium build, 160-170 pounds, wearing a flannel hoodie, dark jeans and dark colored shoes. He got into a silver car with another individual and the two left, traveling north.

Neither the clerk nor the customers in the store were harmed during the robbery.
