Louis and Peaches Owen Heart Hospital and Cardiovascular Associates of East Texas have joined forces to bring Tyler and the neighboring cities more doctors.

Not only will this collaboration bring more doctors, but more equipment, more ideas, and make doctors more accessible to patients, allowing them to have top rate care.

This collaboration, which has been two years in the making, isn't the only good news the hospital shared this morning.

Not only is the hospital ranked in the Top 50 Cardiovascular hospitals by Truven Health Analytics, but Consumer Reports will release their hospitals rankings this fall and the Louis and Peaches Owen Heart Hospital is ranked among the Top 15 heart hospitals in the country, being compared to the Cleveland Clinic and Mayo.

The Chief of Cardiology, Dr. Fagg Sanford, was excited to see the hospital receiving such honorable recognition. He said the goal at Trinity Mother Frances was to always put the patient first and by staying ahead of the curve, they could always be leaders.

Great story Nikki.
Clean up some of the grammar/punctuation & it will be easier to read.
This is great news for Tyler & East Texas.
KETK news director Nell Barton has repeatedly stated in his POV that the ACA (Obamacare) was a disaster that would hurt the medical field & consumers.
The booming health field in Tyler - from the new TJC medical school to expanding services such as the TMF Heart Hospital & the new mediflight helicopter proves ACA is working.
Nell should learn to tell the truth.
