Tyler ISD presents plans for possible charter school
Tyler, TX (KETK) — On Thursday night, Kim Tunnell with Tyler ISD, presented a plan for a possible charter school in the district.
They are working on potentially applying for a federal grant to pay for a new campus.
If the it goes through, the campus will be strictly academically based, and will allow students to graduate with the equivalent of an Associates Degree.
At Thursdays' meeting, information was only presented, no decision or votes were made.
But some parents KETK spoke with, say they feel that more options for students is always a good addition.
