Tyler Junior College and Texas Woman's University will announce a dual enrollment program that will allow students to pursue a a bachelor's degree and an associates degree simultaneously, without leaving Tyler.

The announcement will take place at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 13.

Officials from both insitutitions will sign agreements during the ceremony to be held in the President's Conference Room, on the third floor of the White Administrative Services Center, on the Main TJC campus.

The agreement will allow dental hygiene students to pursue an Associate in Applied Science and a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene simultaneously.

This agreement will become effective for Fall 2014 enrollment.

A bachelor’s degree will assist graduates in advancing in their chosen career field, she said.

Courses through Texas Woman’s University will be delivered on site at TJC and online.
