TYLER - Tyler is no stranger to little league baseball especially since we have national champions right here in East Texas.
Saturday players hit the field to showcase just how much talent is here.
It's the kick-off for fall baseball evaluations, and kids ages nine to fifteen are showing coaches what they got so that they're picked to be on the team.
Angie Reed is the president of Rose Capital West little league where the evaluations take place.
"Kids just come out and they play a little catch with some adults and they hit the ball and just run a few bases and it's just basic fundamentals of baseball," Ms. Reed says.
