TYLER - It takes 13 computers to create the Collins' family's dazzling light show in Tyler, and it's all synchronized to music.

Mike Collins' says it's meant to spread the message of Christmas.

"Our display is focused around the birth of Jesus, which this is what the Christmas season's all about and so when you come to our house, you can turn your radio to 88.3 and the fist song on there, it tells about the story of the birth of jesus," Collins said.

88.3 is a frequency the Collins' have customized specifically for the light show that only reaches about 2 blocks.

Some of the front yard eye candy includes over 100 giant snowflakes hanging from the big oak tree, lasers, and a Christmas tree with customized messages scrolling across.

Also in the Collins' front yard - a special treat for kids - falling snow...just don't eat it.

"People think it's snow until they pick it up and they smell it, and they realize...wait a minute, this is soap, well basically it is soap, yeah," Collins said.
