From the United States Department of Justice Office:

TYLER, Texas – A 34-year-old Tyler, Texas man has pleaded guilty to trafficking methamphetamine in the Eastern District of Texas.

According to U.S. Attorney John M. Bales, Lucio Adan pleaded guilty to conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine today before U.S. Magistrate Judge John D. Love.

According to information presented in court, up until May 6, 2010, Adan conspired with others to distribute more than 500 grams of methamphetamine throughout East Texas. Adan was indicted by a federal grand jury on May 6, 2010.

Adan faces at least 10 years and up to life in federal prison. A sentencing date has not been set. Adan agreed to forfeiture of cash, firearms and a judgment in the amount of $50,000 representing the illegal proceeds of methamphetamine distribution.

This case is being investigated by the DEA and prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Bill Baldwin.
