Tyler officials have removed an overturned cement truck from Paluxy Dr., and the road is now clear for drivers.

A cement tanker truck, owned by Schwerman Trucking, left the roadway and turned over in the 8300 block of Paluxy Drive on Tuesday afternoon. According to the Tyler Police Department, the driver was turning off of Paluxy Drive into a driveway when his back wheels got caught in a ditch.

Fortunately, there were no injuries as a result of the wreck.

Authorities had to bring in a crane to remove the truck from the ditch around 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, and the process was completed just before midnight.

Traffic was temporarily diverted around the work site while the crane was in operation.
