Tyler TX — The Tyler Police Explorers program is designed for young adults ages 14 – 21 to engage in activities and training to prepare them for a career in law enforcement.

Saturday morning they had a bake sale and car wash to raise money for their local and national competitions. They raised $800 for the program and will use that money to buy uniforms and other equipment needed for training.

The Police Explorers will be having an open-house on September 4, at 6:30 p.m. at the Tyler Police Department, anyone who is 14 – 21 age can attend the open house and learn more about the program.
