Tyler Police Investigate 2 Aggravated Assaults Sunday

TYLER - Police are on the look-out for two men they say, beat a man over the head with a brick.
It happened shortly before three o'clock Sunday afternoon on the 700 block of North Border.
Police say, three suspects were involved in the beating.
The victim told police he and the three men have been in an ongoing argument for the past few days, which eventually boiled over.
One man was arrested by police on scene.
The other two fled the scene in a red pickup truck before police arrived.
The man who was beat with the brick refused treatment.
The two other men are still at large.
If you know anything about their whereabouts, you are asked to call police.
That wasn't the only aggravated assault that took place.
Another one happened just before 2 o'clock on Luberta in Tyler, after police say a man forced his way into his childrens' mother's house.
Officers say, another man inside the home attacked him, and the two began to fight in the street.
During the fight, the man, who tried to get into the home, was cut with a box cutter.
He was taken to the hospital.
The case remains under investigation.
