Tyler Police are investigating a robbery that happened at a gas station late Saturday morning.

The robbery happened just after 11:30 at a Valero gas station in the 6500 block of South Broadway.

Officers say a man entered the store, displayed a handgun and demanded money. The clerk gave him an undetermined amount of cash and he ran from the scene.

The man is said to be approximately 5'8" tall, wearing a Halloween type mask, green hooded jacket, blue jeans, brown boots and dark gloves.

No one was injured during the incident.

Employees at the gas station tell KETK that they believe it is the same man that robbed the store a few weeks ago.

Anyone with information in this case is urged to contact the Tyler Police Department at 903-531-1000 or Tyler/Smith County Crimestoppers at 903-597-CUFF. Crimestoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest and charges filed against the robber.
