Tyler Police investigating overnight robbery

Tyler Police are investigating a robbery that happened early Saturday morning.

Just after midnight, officers were called to 1812 East Gentry Street and Relax Inn Motel for a robbery.

On arrival authorities spoke to the victim, the victim said that he came to the hotel to rent a room. While there he was approached by two males and one female. They were asking for cigarettes.

During the conversation one the men said that he had a knife.

The three suspects then removed the contents of the victims pockets and stole the keys to his vehicle. The suspects fled the scene in the victims car.

Fortunately there were no injuries.

One of the male suspects is described as Hispanic male around 5'10" and 150 pounds with a shaved head, he was wearing a grey or blue hoodie and jeans. The other male is described as a black male, around 5'7" and 200 pounds, wearing all black. The female is described as white with blond spiked hair, 5'7" and 140 pounds, she was wearing a red shirt and black shorts.

At this time the robbery is still under investigation and anyone with any information is asked to call the Tyler Police.
