Tyler police are looking for a suspect they say robbed a man at gunpoint late Tuesday night.

At approximately 11:00 pm, Officers were called to the 1000 block of W. Oakwood.

Once on scene, officers spoke with a man who said he was walking through the woods and noticed someone walking behind him. The person then approached him, pulled a gun and demanded money. He then fled the scene. No one was injured.

The suspect is described as a black male wearing a black ski mask, a green military style coat, camouflage pants and work boots. The suspect was believed to be in his twenties, approximately 5’6” in height and one hundred and sixty pounds.

Crimestoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest and charges filed against the suspects in this case or any other felony case.
