Tyler Police Seize $90,000 in Drugs and Cash
TYLER — Two people face charges after Tyler police seize more than $90,000 worth of drugs and cash from their Tyler home.
Police served the search warrant on McKenzie Street around midnight Wednesday morning. Officials seized 12 pounds of high grade marijuana, more than $31,000 in cash, a bullet proof vest and a 45-caliber handgun. Police arrested Scott Eric Duncan, 25, and Angela Jill Spillman, 24, during the early morning raid.
Don Martin, Tyler Police Department PIO, says they an example of the type of people and the danger local police deal with on the street.
"We want the public to know that we are out there doing our job and the narcotics guys are doing everything they can to get this off the streets," says Martin.
According to police, Duncan is charged with a third degree felony and Spillman faces a state jail felony.

the girl only had a valium she took from her mother in her purse. this is ridiculous. u make it sound like she was in this as part of a conspiracy. she has never been in trouble before, is not a person that does drugs, should have known better than to associate with this boy,yes i agree, but is a very caring and loving person who does a lot of good selfless things for people. u people should be ashamed of urselves. because of ur misreporting she has lost her job, the respect of a lot of her peers, gone thru a strip search and was traumatized for all the things this boy has done. you owe her an apology and u should correct ON AIR all of the untrue and unsubstantiated accusations and false ideas you yourselves (kltv) have perpetrated.
