Tyler Radio Club met at Tyler State Park this afternoon to start off a 24 hour marathon for a national ham radio event.

These people are not your average radio operators.

Instead of playing music they send messages around the world.

Over 700 million radio users are in the united states alone.

And Saturday the Tyler Radio Club made it their goal to contact as many stations in the united states as they could.
