A Tyler Italian restaurant will be closing their doors for good this evening.

Johnny Carino's located on Loop 323 near Old Jacksonville Highway will be closing at 10 p.m. tonight.

Managers will not comment on the closing.

But according to a sign on their front door, they want to express their sincere gratitude and appreciation for their customer's loyalty over the years. They say it has been a pleasure serving the Tyler community.

Hate to see them close, the restaurant business is the hardest business to make money in.

The economy improves, just ask the media.

Sounds familiar. Many small businesses & restaurants are having to close to due the poor economy. Very sad. :(
