At 3:45 this afternoon, Tyler Police responded to a call on the 9000 block of Elm Tree Circle.  The home owner, 51-year old Robert Nicholas Kemper Jr.  and two employees, had been cutting a tree in the yard of the residence.

Reportedly the tree became hung in another tree as it fell.  When the group dislodged the tree, Mr. Kemper accidently fell to the ground and was crushed under the falling tree, killing him.

Investigators from the Tyler Police Department Crimes Against Persons Unit responded to the residence to investigate.  At this time the incident appears to be an unfortunate accident.
