The Longview Lobos stayed in Class 5A, Tatum remained in 2A and Kilgore dropped to 3A in some of the major news coming from the University Interscholastic League today with the announcement of its biennial realignment.

Districts involving East Texas schools include:

•District 12-5A: Longview, Tyler Lee, Mesquite Horn, Mesquite, North Mesquite, Rockwall Heath and Rockwall.
•District 14-4A: Pine Tree, Hallsville, Marshall, Mount Pleasant, Sulphur Springs and Texas High.
•District 16-4A: Corsicana, Jacksonville, Lindale, Nacogdoches, John Tyler and Whitehouse.
•District 13-3A: Atlanta, Paris, North Lamar, Pittsburg, Liberty-Eylau and Pleasant Grove.
•District 14-3A: Crandall, Rains, Kaufman, Quinlan Ford and Wills Point.
