Union Grove ISD calls special meeting tonight to discuss safety, security

The Union Grove ISD Board of Trustees has called a special meeting for 6 p.m. tonight to discuss safety and security, Superintendent Brian Gray said.

The agenda called for the school board to discuss the district’s local policy regarding safety and security, to review the district’s emergency operations plan, and to discuss districtwide issues related to safety and security.

The board will also discuss security in a closed session following the regular meeting. Any action resulting from the closed session will occur in open session. Trustees will start the meeting by allowing public comment.

The school board will meet in the library of Union Grove High School, 11377 Union Grove Road.
