Union Trane employees approve four-year contract

TYLER - Some employees have been on edge recently after tensions between the union employees and the company forced a vote on Sunday that went right down the middle.
The passing of Thursday night's vote will ratify a new four-year agreement between union employees and Trane.
There's been no word as of yet by how large of a margin the vote passed or what changes were made to the agreement.
KETK received a press release from the parent company of Trane who tells us:
"We are pleased by the vote outcome," said Mike Swift, plant manager of the Trane Tyler operation.
"This new contract provides competitive wages and benefits for our employees while providing the business the flexibility needed to make us competitive in the marketplace."
