TYLER — UPDATE: The alleged kidnapped girl at Tyler ISD has been located and is with a parent.

She is reportedly safe, and was not in any danger.

KETK has received reports of an alleged kidnapping near a Tyler school.

We've been in contact with school officials, who tell us that they can not confirm that a child has been taken, however a teacher did notice a girl being forced into a car near Hogg Middle School.

Right now, the school is taking attendance to find out if any students are missing.

KETK is checking with city police authorities to see if they believe this to be an active kidnapping, or if the young girl was with relatives.

Details are limited, but we will be sure to update this story as soon as we hear more.
