JACKSONVILLE-- The 6th annual Mudstock starts in Jacksonville today. It's one of several national mudding events making their home in Cherokee county.
This year, staff members say they expect more people than ever this year. As those thousands of people come through Jacksonville to get there, Roy Johnson tells us it helps his Jacksonville business. Johnson owns CJ's Quick Stop, and his business booms on Mudstock weekends, especially since the city recently went wet.
Johnson says, "'Mudstock helps across the board in every aspect of our store. It helps in fuel sales, beer and wine sales, snacks, chips, soda sales.

Had a great time this year!!!.....But the speeding with wheelers on the highline I could do with out......My wife was in tow with two broke axles this young guy bounced off the front and started laughing as he rode away. Not so good and may be a deciding factor if I will attend next year.
Thanks Phillip Luce
