Troopers have obtained an arrest warrant for Justin Lee Echols, charging him with accident involving personal injury or death, a 3rd degree felony.

Judge Kerry Russell of the 7th Judicial Disrtict Court signed the warrants at 4 p.m. this afternoon. Echols' bond has been set at $250,000.

ORIGINAL STORY: A manhunt is underway for a man who fled the scene of a fatal East Texas crash.

The incident happened on County Road 217 just north of Overton.

Officials at the scene tell KETK a man and woman in a Ford F-350 truck lost control while turning a corner and hit a tree. The woman was thrown from the truck and pinned underneath it. She later died from her injuries.

Authorities believe the man hopped on an ATV, traveled in an unknown direction on CR 217 and crashed again. He then ran from the scene.

Authorities say they are searching for the man driving the truck, who they believe to be 30-year-old Justin Echols, of Diana.
