UPDATE: Authorities name victims in major Chandler wreck

UPDATE (11:42pm Thursday): Officials have released the names of three people who were injured -- two critically -- in a major wreck on FM 317 near Chandler on Monday.

The victims have been identified as Nataska Cumby, 24, Stephanie Wilson, 35, and Johnny Parker, 32, according to the Henderson County Department of Public Safety.

Authorities say Parker was driving his truck west on FM 317 when a Mustang driven east by Wilson moved into the westbound lane and hit the pickup head-on. The Mustang then spun around and hit a Grand Prix driven by Cumby.

Cumby was taken to a nearby hospital, treated and released. Wilson is in the hospital, but is expected to be released soon, and Parker has undergone at least one surgery, but is expected to recover.


UPDATE: Three cars were involved in the wreck, which happened on FM 317 in Chandler.

According to the Westside Fire Department, there were three people involved.

Two were flown to a Tyler hospital in critical condition.

Another person was taken by ambulance. That person's condition is unknown.

FM 317 has been closed while the crew clears the scene.


ORIGINAL STORY: Brownsboro, Coffee City, Westside and Henderson County emergency crews are all on the scene of a major wreck in Chandler.

Initial reports indicate that there are several serious injuries. Two helicopters have been launched to the location.
