Update: Bond set for police officer who allegedly stabbed a woman with syringes

Tuesday morning, Judge Nancy Talley read David Kelly Horn the Magistrates warning and set his bond.
The amounts were $500,000 for aggravated assault and $100,000 for deadly conduct.
The victim remains in intensive care in a local hospital.
A Hooks police officer is behind bars after allegedly stabbing a woman with syringes filled with animal tranquilizer.
Shortly before midnight on Sunday, Bowie County deputies were called to Moss Lane on reports of a disturbance in progress. When authorities arrived, they found an unconscious woman lying on the floor with blood around her.
Witnesses told deputies the woman had been stabbed with syringes filled with an unknown animal tranquilizer. She was flown to a nearby hospital and is currently in intensive care in very serious condition.
A family member told officials the victim had been attacked and had a gun pointed at her by the suspect, Hooks Police Sergeant David Horn. A second victim reported she was also attacked by Horn.
Horn was arrested for aggravated assault, deadly conduct, and cited to court for the charge of assault by contact
