TYLER — The City of Tyler tells KETK they will release all the pro-alcohol petition signatures to "Stand Strong for Tyler" by the end of Thursday's business day.
The organization says they will try to verify the names and addresses themselves.
ORIGINAL REPORT: The anti-alcohol group "Stand Strong for Tyler" held a press conference in downtown Tyler on Thursday morning, demanding that the city turn over copies of the pro-alcohol petitions.
The group claims that the city is dragging its feet, and suspects that some people in city hall favor the "pro-alcohol" side.
They say a complaint with the state, and a lawsuit is not out of the question in the future.
KETK's Roger Gray is at the conference, and will have all the details tonight on KETK news at 5 & 6!
