Update: College Station Police identify suspected shooter
COLLEGE STATION - A College Station man is accused of killing a 29-year-old woman and seriously injuring her 9-year-old son at the home of the victims.
College Station police say 45-year-old Stanley Lamar Griffin was jailed Tuesday on charges of murder, injury to a child with serious bodily injury and for violating parole. Bond was $500,000 for Griffin, who was arrested Monday hours after the victims were discovered. Electronic jail records had no listing of an attorney
Police are trying to determine if Griffin knew 29-year-old Jennifer Marie Hailey or her son. The boy underwent surgery following the attack reported around 5 a.m. Monday. Further details on the boy's condition were not immediately available Tuesday.
