UPDATE: Driver's stroke causes wreck on W. Gentry

TYLER — Tyler police tell KETK a woman had a minor stroke which lead to the wrecks on W. Gentry.
The 61-year old was headed northbound when she had the stroke and crossed both southbound lanes and struck a utility pole.
According to a Tyler police spokesman, downed power lines have been moved out of the road on W. Gentry Parkway, and traffic is back to a normal flow.
The accident happened when a vehicle, for unknown reasons, hit a utility pole, bringing the power lines down.
A separate accident followed when a motorcyclist headed southbound didn't see a line hanging in the air, and the person was pulled from his bike.
Both drivers had to be taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
Tyler Police tell KETK, both lanes are blocked on W. Gentry in Tyler while crews clear a wreck.
Officials say the wreck happened around 9:15 a.m. in front of the Coca-Cola plant.
Power lines are down in the area.
