UPDATE: Drug Bust in Tyler

TYLER — UPDATE FROM TYLER POLICE DEPARTMENT:
On August 4, 2011, officers of the Tyler Police Department executed a Narcotics Search Warrant at 1219 East Locust Street. Officers searched the residence and recovered a quantity of crack cocaine, prescription pills, a short-barrel firearm, and evidence of bootlegging.
Tyler Police Officers arrested Jerry Lewis Barrett and booked him into the Smith County Jail for possession of a controlled substance in a drug free zone, possession of a prohibited weapon, and bootlegging.

Investigators follow through with a drug search warrant at a home in Tyler, Thursday night.
At least three people appear to be in custody outside the home.
Agents tell KETK, only one person was arrested.
They confiscated crack cocaine, illegal firearms and a lot of beer.
