Officials now tell KETK, there is no 18-wheeler involved in this accident.

This accident happened when a disabled car on the side of the road was hit by a driver that fell asleep.

Nobody was in the disabled car at the time, and there were no injuries involved.

Traffic is moving freely on the interstate now, as both lanes have re-opened.

Officials also tell us, a short distance away there was a man who fell into a ravine. No word yet of this man's injuries, but officials say he was not related to the accident.


Longview Police officials tell KETK, the accident involved an 18-wheeler.

There were no injuries, but traffic is still being detoured off the interstate near Estes, and is re-joining I-20 at FM 2087.

Officials tell us, following the accident someone fell 30 feet into a ravine nearby. No word yet on the extent of that person's injuries.


Longview Fire officials tell KETK, the accident happened just before 6:00 a.m. Two vehicles were involved, no word of any injuries.

Both eastbound lanes were blocked, but officials say they will begin opening one lane shortly.


Gregg County Sheriff officials tell KETK, a wreck near mile marker 594 on Interstate 20, has eastbound traffic blocked.

KETK has a crew on the way and will provide more information as it becomes available.
