Hospital officials say that just four days after allegedly getting beaten, Frankston police officer, Jason Ward, is doing better.

Thirty-one year old Ward was involved in an incident with a burglary suspect who was shot dead by other officers.

His doctors have upgraded his condition from “fair” to “good”.
