UPDATE: Gregg Co. officials say missing man found alive, well

Gregg County, TX (KETK) — UPDATE ( 4:33 p.m. ): Gregg County officials tell KETK, Mr. Elbert Pannellhas been found alive and well. They thank the community for their help in this matter.
ORIGINAL ( 4:15 p.m. ): Sheriff Maxey Cerliano and the Gregg County Sheriff’s Office request assistance in a missing person case.
78-year-old Elbert Pannell walked away from his residence on Flenniken Street in Gladewater (Liberty City area) at about 8:00 p.m., Sunday evening and was last seen walking on Old Highway 135. Mr. Pannell is a white male, approximately 5’6”, 165 pounds, brown/gray hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a blue and white stripe shirt, blue jeans and gray and white tennis shoes. Mr. Pannell frequently walks in this area and has no mental or medical issues other than high blood pressure.
