Tyler, TX (KETK) — UPDATE: Officials tell KETK, the fire was extinguished around 11:00pm on Tuesday.

There were no injuries, but half of the house was destroyed in the blaze.

ORIGINAL STORY: KETK has confirmed with the Smith County Fire Marshall's office, that they are currently working to put out a house fire in the 12,500 block of County Road 1113, or Lake Placid Road, just outside of Tyler.

KETK has a crew headed to the scene, we will have more information as it becomes available.
