Update: The home was completely destroyed by the fire, which broke out during the 6:00 am hour. The homeowners had left the home to take their children to school and came back to find the house fully engulfed.

Cuney Mayor Oscar Birdow says anyone who wishes to donate to the family can contact the city office at 903-876-2655.

The cause is under investigation. No injuries were reported.
