UPDATE: House destroyed in Tyler fire

UPDATE: Authorities tell KETK, that just after 8:00pm, a woman inside the house on Britton Ave noticed smoke.

She ran outside to warn a man who was raking leaves in the yard, but by that point, the house had gone up in flames.

By 10:00pm, Tyler firefighters had put out most of the fire and only a few hot spots remained.

The house was destroyed, but nobody was injured.

The smoke from the blaze could be seen across the city of Tyler.

UPDATE: Police tell KETK, no one was hurt in the fire. KETK will be live from the scene tonight on KETK News at 10.

ORIGINAL STORY: KETK Crews are headed to a massive house fire on the 1000 block of Britton Ave.

Britton Ave. is shut down while crews fight the blaze. We've been told that there is only one house involved.

Multiple emergency crews were called out just after 8 o'clock tonight.

We have a crew headed to the scene, and we'll bring you more information as it becomes available.
