The Tyler Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 308 E. Queen that was reported at 9:53 a.m. by neighbors who saw flames coming from the house.

A neighbor went and knocked on the door to alert anyone that might be home, but had no response from inside.

Firefighters had the fire under control at 10:14 a.m. and remained on scene performing salvage and overhaul. 

This incident is still under investigation.

Tyler fire investigators tell KETK, the fire burned the interior of the house, the structure is still standing.

The family was home at the time but no one was injured.

The fire started in the kitchen and worked its way up into the attic.

 Investigators are still on the scene.  The cause of the fire is still unknown. 


Tyler Fire Department is on scene of a structure fire on the 300 block of East Queen.

Details are limited at this time.

KETK has a crew on the way and will provide more information as we get it in.
