UPDATE (6:55 a.m.): Both lanes of the interstate are now open following an 18-wheeler fire overnight.

The 18-wheeler was carrying concrete and caught fire around 9:30 p.m. on Sunday. The reason for the fire is unclear at this time.

UPDATE (6:23 a.m.): One lane of eastbound Interstate 20 has been opened.

Authorities tell KETK that an 18-wheeler caught fire, but there were no injuries involved.

Emergency crews had detoured traffic down FM 14 while they worked the scene.

We will continue to provide any updates if and when they become available.

ORIGINAL STORY (5:47 a.m.): Drivers traveling eastbound on Interstate 20 are being detoured at mile marker 562.

Department of Public Safety officials tell KETK that a vehicle has caught fire at that location.

Further details about the fire were not immediately available.

Traffic is being detoured down FM 14, and drivers can account for delays in travel time in this area.

KETK has a crew on the way and will update as soon as more information is available.
