UPDATE: The victim in this case has been identified as Nicole Cartwright of Longview, Texas. Investigators have learned that Ms. Cartwright left Club REO to meet with family and friends, also from Longview, Texas, at the car wash on West Bow Street on Christmas Eve. Once at the car wash a disturbance occurred in the parking lot between four females in a gray or blue car with dark tinted windows, possibly a Pontiac, and a group of individuals in a red Dodge Challenger. Shots were fired, striking Ms. Cartwright who later died at a local hospital. Investigators have determined that Ms. Cartwright was not involved in the disturbance nor was she in either vehicle. Investigators are requesting assistance in identifying the females in the gray or blue car, as well as identifying the suspect(s) involved in the shooting.

Anyone with information about the suspects involved in this crime are urged to contact the Tyler Police Department, at 903-531-1000, or Crimestoppers, at 903-597-CUFF (903-597-2833).
