From Tyler Police:

Updated information in case: Victim has been identified as Todd Jackson of Dallas 49 Year old Black Male. Case is still under investigation.

Tyler police say they received a report of man bleeding, laying on the sidewalk at West Erwin and Bruck at around 6 a.m. Friday.

When police and EMS arrived on scene, the man was declared dead.

The investigation is ongoing and the man's name has not yet been released.

Officials on the scene tell KETK that they were called out this morning on reports that a man was having a heart attack.

When they arrived on scene, they found a man dead.

Tyler Police are still investigating.

Tyler Police say they are investigating a body found on Erwin St. early Friday morning.

Right now, officials are trying to determine whether the person died of natural causes.
