NACOGDOCHES-Three men charged with killing SFA student Charles Frazar faced a grand jury Friday morning.
Officials tell us, Okeiron Bowser, Marlon Randle and Marsh Odom were each indicted for the first degree felony offenses of Murder, Aggravated Robbery and Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
According to a press release from the Nacogdoches County District Attorney's Office, the men were initially arrested and charged with Capital Murder.
But now, district attorney's are pursuing non-capital charges based on examining the facts and circumstances surrounding the offense, the release states.
"This office has concluded that a jury would not consider execution an appropriate punishment in a case where it appears the facts at trial would show that the victim was engaged in an illegal transaction with the defendants at the time of his murder," according to the release.
Officials say, no further information will be released at this time.
No court date has been set.
