UPDATE: One alleged Christmas Eve jewelry thief arrested; two others still unidentified

TYLER — UPDATE (January 28th, 9:15am): Investigators have identified one of the suspects in the burglary that happened on Christmas Eve in Tyler, where jewelry was taken from a house on Hollytree Circle.
One suspected burglar is Xavier Shaquele Roberson, 22, of Houston.
Roberson has been arrested by Humble Police Department, and transported back to Tyler, where he is currently being held on a $300,000 bond.
Roberson and two other people allegedly burglarized a house on Hollytree Circle in Tyler on Christmas Eve of 2012.
On December 31, 2012 Judge Jack Skeen, 241st District Court, issued a warrant for burglary of a habitation for Roberson.
On January 21, 2013 the Tyler Police Department was notified that Roberson had been arrested by officers with the Humble Texas Police Department.
He was transported to Tyler on January 24, 2013.
Police are still searching for the two other suspects in the case. Anyone with any information can call the Tyler Police Department.
UPDATE (December 24, 2012 - 3:30pm): Tyler Police tell KETK, the burglary call came in about 11:15 am on Monday.
When police arrived, they discovered that a burglary had occured.
At the same time, police dispatchers received a call from a citizen who described a vehicle that had been seen driving away from the scene.
Another officer found the suspected vehicle and attempted to stop the burglars.
The burglars then began throwing jewelry that they had stolen from the vehicle.
The jewelry was recoverd, but its exact value is not known.
The suspects then ran away into a wooded area.
They are described as three black males.
There were no injuries and there were no weapons found.
Tyler police are investigating the case.
UPDATE (1:30pm): The house burglary took place just before noon on the 6800 block of Hollytree Circle.
Alert neighbors heard the house alarm and called the police.
Witnesses and officials tell KETK crews on the scene that the men were attempting to steal jewelry.
As of 2:00pm Monday, the men had not been found.
ORIGINAL STORY (12:00pm): Tyler Police are searching for burglars on the run after a house burglary Monday afternoon.
Police tell KETK, three black males were caught burglarizing a house on Hollytree Circle in Tyler.
They tried to flee the scene in their vehicle, but got out and began running into a wooded area near Broadway Ave. and Grande Dr.
Police are search the area for the men, and are questioning witnesses.
KETK has a crew on the way, and will provide more information as soon as it becomes available.
