SMITH COUNTY — According to Walter Miller, his trailer was saved after passers-by noticed flames shooting into the air from a wooded area near his house on the 14,000 block of CR 354.
The passers-by fought off the fire, which came within feet of building, with water hoses until firefighters arrived on scene.
Miller believes the fire could have started from a rekindled fire that originally burnt down his neighbors trailer.

Red Springs and Winona Fire Departments are using a plow to fight the blaze and have contained the flames.
Smith County firefighters are on the scene of a fire on County Road 354 near Winona.
No word yet on the extent of the blaze.
KETK has a crew on the way and will provide more information as it becomes available.
