UPDATE: Pedestrian Accident on Loop 323 In Tyler

UPDATE : TYLER POLICE PRESS RELEASE
At 8:10pm on November 17, 2010 Tyler Police officers were dispatched to the 100 block of the NNW Loop 323 in reference to a pedestrian who had been hit by a vehicle. Officers arrived and began to care for the victim, Lorenzo Robles, 19, of Tyler. EMS and the Tyler Fire Department arrived and took over the medical care of Robles.
Investigators determined Robles was crossing the loop westbound from the area of CiCi’s Pizza when he was struck by a vehicle in the center southbound lane. Immediately after the crash, several witnesses stopped and began to assist Robles. The female driver was not injured.
Robles was transported to East Texas Medical Center and treated. He is currently admitted in the hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.
Traffic Investigators were called to the scene due to the severity of Robles’ injuries and completed the investigation. No charges are expected to be filed.

UPDATE; TYLER - A teenager walking across the Loop 323 is hit by a car.
Now, he's in a local hospital in serious condition.
It happened around 8:15 Wednesday night at the intersection of Highway 64 west and the Loop.
Tyler Police say, a young woman was traveling down the Loop, in her car, saw the man, swerved, but still hit him.
The young man was taken to the hospital with traumatic head wounds.
Police say, the woman was not issued a ticket.
They say, the man crossed the street where he shouldn't have.
But, there's no word "if" he'll get a ticket.

TYLER- Tyler Police are on the scene of a pedestrian accident in Tyler.
It happened around 8:15 Wednesday night at the intersection of Loop 323 and Highway 64 West.
Details are slim at this time, but the person hit is reportedly a young hispanic man in his 20s.
Scanner reports indicate he was hit by a car traveling more than 50 miles an hour.
Police tell us, the driver of the car was not speeding.
No word if she will be issued a ticket.

Why is the person who hit him's name not being released and what was her state when she hit him. It seems like the details are really sketchy on this one. Is there more forthcoming?
