WOOD COUNTY - Wood County troopers tell KETK 54-year-old Mark England crash landed his plane around 8 a.m. near County Road 2245.

England told officials he was forced to crash land when his engine failed during recreational flight in the Mineola area.

The Federal Aviation Administration say the plane is a Bearcat model, not an ultra light as previously reported.

England received minor injuries, but troopers were unaware if he was taken to the hospital.

The FAA will investigate the crash.

WOOD COUNTY- A Wood County Sheriff official confirms a plane has crashed in Wood County.

They say it was an ultra light, a small one engine plane.

No one was injured in the accident.
