East Texas (KETK) — UPDATE: Power has been restored to most of Big Sandy, according to officials with SWEPCO.
A large outage earlier on Wednesday left at least 670 customers without power.
As of 3:00pm, however, the outage had been isolated to 4-5 customers in Big Sandy and only a couple households in Spring Hill.
Authorities tell KETK, although storms blew through the area Wednesday morning, they can't confirm that they are the cause of the outage at this point. There are crews out investigating the cause.
ORIGINAL STORY: A large portion of Big Sandy is without power following the storms on Wednesday.
City authorities say that the western part of Big Sandy was the most impacted by the outage.

School buses began running at 2:00pm.
