Broadway Square Mall packed on Sunday

TYLER - Today at the mall, many folks told us they were looking for after-Christmas deals...as well as exchanging items.

The week following Christmas is known for just that, and for spending those ever-popular gift cards.

The mall's director of marketing, Aaron Yust says throughout the holiday season, the parking lot has been full and business has been good.

He says this year, shopping habits were a little different.

"What you're seeing a lot more of this year is you're seeing a lot of people planning more in advance.  They know their budgets, they know what they want to get and they're getting out early, so that really, overall helped out with the shopping experience as a whole this year," Yust said.
